To Walk the Beach at Dusk

I do not ask for more than
to walk the beach at dusk,
between primrose dunes
and periwinkle sky,
to breath salt breeze, and
take time to sort the confusion
of terns Caspian, Forsters,
Least, Common, Royal.
To walk the beach at dusk,
hand in hand, is joy enough.

Your poem gives me a feeling of peacefulness. I have felt the same about my walks this week. Joy enough! I hope that I (and you)can hold on to these feelings as the week gets into its busy routine far away from the beach this week.

Simple joys such as this are the best kind. Joy enough!
