It seems to be hard to write about adventures while having them - at least this time. I'm still in the midst. Bob has made it possible for us to hike in the Guadelupe Mountains tomorrow - favorite trail in McKittrick Canyon. I didn't think we'd have time. Cross country drives on little ranch roads straight out of the fifties have been a highlight this time - and the Chiricua fox squirrel - unique to that wilderness.

I am so glad you and Bob are enjoying this adventure and special time together. I've appreciated your thanksgiving reflections, remembering so many things to be thankful for. Thanks for sharing them! I have been doing a similar exercise in my head, but I need to write it down, too.

What fun you are having, Victoria. I had to look up the Chiricua fox squirrel and found that the ONLY place you can see them are in those mountains. Did you see the standing up rocks? That whole topography is forgien to me though I did go to Phoenix one time. I did not see the region though. I imagine you will be getting home today and I am due in the kitchen. LOL This is my way of procrastinating. LOL
