We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools.
Martin Luther King, Jr.

Today was a day of brotherhood and sisterhood - sitting with family and old friends, singing, exchanging gifts - laughing, remembering crying together, watching a new generation of children grow and awaiting two more babies.

I'm so glad you had such a great day of sitting with family and old friends. I feel this quote of Dr. King's so strongly. Especially so because Bill and I are soon to vacation with my brothers. Its not always easy and there are always anxious moments but so worth it. Of course Dr King's quote is so much greater than this and the meaning isn't lost on me but it relates to so many little moments and pieces of my life. The world learning to live together touches me deeply.
