Words Matter

Policeman
Chairman
Schizophrenic
Cripple
I used to think words didn't matter
as long as you knew in your heart
what you meant. But I was wrong.
Words can change what people think.
Police officer
Chairperson
Person with schizophrenia
Person with a disability
Words do matter
Everyone should be able to marry
the partners they choose.
